In certain workshop situations we apply the “Shooting Exercise” as a ‘quick and dirty’ analysis procedure. Particularly when time is limited, a group can provide feedback and ideas effectively and efficiently in a very short time.
The procedure is such that following a presentation of a plan or even a specific topic, participants in a workshop can write their critical comments, questions, doubts, problems, risks or suggestions on cards, that will be classified and discussed and can be used to adjust the plan.
This procedure sounds and is quite simple, but will require a professional facilitator to manage the discussion and the logistical organisation of all those cards properly.
